Living on the Main Line for the past 15 years after relocating from Jacksonville, Florida, Susan is personally familiar with the challenges of relocating, buying, selling and renovating homes. Having moved four times in the past 15 years Susan also has real insight into what her clients are going through. “I can easily think back to the questions I had when I moved here, and the various questions about a complex process I knew very little about. Because of this, I like to educate my clients and walk them step by step throughout the home buying or selling process. I feel that this helps to promote a more stress-free environment for my clients.”
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Susan was previously a Registered Nurse. “It may seem as the two careers are polar opposite; but, as I thought about how I like to treat my clients it is many of the same traits that have carried over from my Nursing career- attention to detail, caring, compassion, professionalism and advocacy.”
When asked why she made the career change, Susan says, “I was a real estate buff before ever getting in to the business. I had a relative in the business who is a successful Realtor and she saw that I was naturally very interested in the business. She encouraged me to pursue a career in Real Estate. I haven’t looked back since. Being a Realtor, I get to help people with one of the most important choices they will make finding their home, I find it extremely rewarding.”
In her free time Susan spends time in the community by volunteering with The Junior League of Philadelphia and Fox & Roach Charities. Susan is also proud to serve on the Board of Directors of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Susan was honored to receive the Prudential Cares Volunteer Award for her volunteer efforts.
